About the Due Date Calculator

Estimate when your baby is due from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) or the date of conception. The tool also shows how far along you are today.

How it works

Using Naegele's rule, the due date is about 280 days (40 weeks) after the first day of the last period, assuming a 28-day cycle. You can adjust for a longer or shorter cycle.

Good to know

Only a small share of babies arrive exactly on the due date. Your doctor or midwife may adjust it after an ultrasound scan.
